Slide Bristol - general manager

Slide is a premium, shared ride-to-work service in Bristol that you book in advance using an app (iOS and Android). It is the first in the UK pioneering an on-demand bus offering.

  • Managed the entire setup of the business and operation in Bristol

  • Managed the ideation and implementation of the go-to-market plan

  • Managed the tech implementation of the customer and driver apps for both iOS and Android

Adaptive was a digital agency specialising in online marketing and website delivery. Delivering high quality design led eCommerce websites for the retail sector on their proprietary platform. Adaptive was acquired by Ve Interactive in 2012 for their eCommerce technology; taking on all clients & staff.


  • Founder & director until the successful acquisition by Ve in 2012

  • As company director I gained invaluable experience in all aspects of business including strategy, finance, management, HR, client handling, product positioning and project delivery

  • The day-to-day role was as production director. This consisted of the management of the design, build and delivery of award-winning web projects, many for the retail industry

  • During this time I outlined and supervised the design/build of an eCommerce platform which ultimately meant I gained a wealth of experience in both eCommerce and usability
