For ten years I have been managing product. I enjoy working with stakeholders to pull together and maintain the product roadmap; gathering requirements; drawing up user stories; and ensuring business priorities are a focus for the production team.
I have also built and managed a number of product owner teams, training individuals on Agile and ensuring they execute the product backlog efficiently.
I have managed various digital production teams of up to seventy people. This has included personnel form across UX/UI & design, front end, PHP, .NET, QA and PO. I have successfully implemented scrum based Agile development methodology. I’m adept at implementing necessary systems and processes to deliver rapid, iterative product deployments.
In 2006 I headed up the development of a bespoke eCommerce platform. My role was to manage the product roadmap, UX for the admin and project manage client website delivery. I became a conversion optimisation specialist, acquiring extensive knowledge on how to optimise the conversion rate of a website, from product pages through to the checkout process. I ran workshops on checkout best practice at various industry trade shows in London.
